Desperate Housewives is one of my favorite shows of all time and although this episode was a bit weaker than the previous two, I still enjoyed it (which always seems to be the case with this show). They’re building up this season’s mystery quite well and Chuck’s outburst at the end was excellently done and sufficiently creepy.
Lynette’s storyline was definitely the weakest tonight (a recurring theme) as it was a lot of filler material but the rest of the ladies picked up the slack. Gabby and Renee were hilarious as always although I’m still waiting for the latter to get a decent long-running storyline. Vanessa Williams is just too fantastic a talent to be under-utilized like she’s been on this show.
Finally, I’m intrigued by the Carlos-Susan storyline and the ending with Mike walking away as Susan sobbed was particularly good.
Here’s hoping the ladies go out with a bang for their final season. In my opinion, they’ve earned it.
