Much better. After an excellent pilot but a so-so second episode, this was a wonderful hour as I’m really getting a feel for the show and how it would progress week to week. The characters are becoming very well defined and I’m particularly in love with Katherine McPhee who can simply do no wrong. She’s really one of the most charming and vibrant personalities ever and I can’t wait to see her really blow up with this show and get the success she deserves.
Elsewhere, the rest of the cast is uniformly strong and they’re all getting some intriguing material to work with as their professional and person lives begin to collide with the production of the show. All in all, a great episode for a very promising new show.
