Better. I’m still not very happy with the fact that we’ve yet to see the Leviathans again but Lucifer’s return on the other hand was definitely welcome. His toying with Sam was delightfully evil to watch and I quite liked the ending with our younger Winchester at Satan’s mercy.
As for this week’s case, the writers added an interesting enough twist with our victim Jeffrey actually wanting to be possessed again but it still wasn’t the most thrilling plot-line. Here’s hoping for a return to more exciting prospects next week.

Agreed that they ought to try and formalize a real ending of sorts, especially when it's so obvious that they're getting canceled come May.

I agree about the disposability of Supernatural's standalone episodes, but I think the humor is quite welcome in a season where we lost two major characters, and everything is so dark. On the other, I have to agree about the mythology. It should be given more weight this late in the season.
I agree with everything you said about Ringer, except for Siobhan. I wouldn't say she's a non-character, more a missed opportunity. But up until this week she was being handled quite well.
As for Once Upon a Time, you probably know that I feel pretty differently about it! I wouldn't say that MM and David are lacking in charisma at all, I quite like them, its just that up until this episode, MM was a little bland. She's growing now though, and I absolutely loved her in Dreamy.

Thanks for commenting Panda. I agree about the lightheartedness in Supernatural after all the darkness. Sometimes we do need it. As for Once Upon A Time, I have “Dreamy” but haven't seen it yet. The show just doesn't excite me anymore sadly!
