Not the greatest. After the brilliant masterpiece that was the last episode, this was a return to the more procedural aspect of the show. Sure it was undoubtedly intriguing and Jason Isaacs continues to be a fantastic protagonist, but I expect more particularly since the show’s ratings are horrible and we probably won’t get past a first season. I will say I enjoyed Harper’s characterization in this one as she doesn’t seem to be purely a villain as has been painted so far (loved her touching scene with the molested girl).
Here’s hoping the show kicks into high gear again in the next episode. Nevertheless, this was a well done and compelling enough hour.
