A good hour that could have been a great one. One one hand, I really enjoyed Uma Thurman in this one. She plays the demanding crazy diva well and I liked her “bonding” with Karen (who sang “Run” beautifully). Moreover, Eileen and Nick’s growing relationship is surprisingly endearing and genuine. However, there’s still a lot of annoying stuff such as Julia’s stupid son, Tom’s drama queen antics, and of course Ellie the most annoying character of all time. The show really needs to filter out its cast because there’s a lot of dead weight. Nevertheless, it was amusing enough and I surprisingly loved the Bollywood number which started out horribly, then included the entire cast in a wonderful little story. Still, could be better.
