Potential Resurrection: Body of Proof
I watched Body of Proof but apparently ABC is reportedly bringing back the Dana Delany vehicle after its third season cancellation. Dana was phenomenal on Desperate Housewives so I’m definitely happy for her. Still, it’s interesting that ABC is doing something so bold; I guess their fortunes are quite terrible this year. With the exception of the pop-culture behjomoth that is Scandal, the rest of their lineup is sinking faster than the titanic (and yes I’m mostly referring to Revenge and Once Upon A Time).

American Horror Story Loses its Queen
Jessica Lange has sadly announced that season four of American Horror Story will be her last. Although I don’t want to watch the show without her, there’s no denying it can still be great. The show’s anthology concept allows it to push the reset button every year with a brand new cast and premise; I just wish Lange was sticking around till the end. She’s a rare treasure that one, and I have no doubt that season four will be incredible.

The CW Goes Mad
First the CW developed Reign, a mishmash of Gossip Girl and Game of Thrones (I have yet to watch it and see if it’s a successful hybrid or not). And now, the fledgling network is crafting it’s own version of Mad Men with Players, set in 1930’s Hollywood. Props for taking even more risks this development cycle. The time period surely holds promise, so I’ll definitely give this one a shot.

A Charmed Revival
No, just NO. I was an enormous fan of Charmed, a light and lovable production that ran for eight seasons and only ended in 2006. Is it seriously time for a darn reboot? Is Hollywood that desperate? Thankfully, Even stars Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan aren’t pleased. Let’s cast a spell on this one and hope it doesn’t come to pass.

This Week In Ratings
Nothing special this week. Scandal was down. The Walking Dead was down. Betrayal was up. Ha! Funny how the world works sometimes.

Episode of the Week
The Good Wife 5×05 – Hitting The Fan
Finally Scandal‘s streak is broken with one of the best hours of television I’ve ever seen. Seriously, I have no words. This was thought-proving, intense and so very exhilarating. Wow.

Promo of the Week
The Good Wife
Masterfully edited. This promo is an epic piece of advertising that’s perfectly constructed on every level.

Must-Download Tune of the Week
Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac
A gorgeous discovery from American Horror Story. Plus it tied in to the plot wonderfully with allegations of Stevie Nicks being a witch.

And finally, since The Good Wife is our centerpiece this week, check out this fantastic piece of promotional material courtesy of CBS.

Happy TV Binging!
